One Plus One was a photography project I designed for the North Lawndale Learning Community during the summer of 2001. The students spent six weeks immersing themselves in a variety of arts projects, one of which was my photography class. We spent a lot of time looking at photographs, talking about them and eventually making them. All the photographs were taken with Holga cameras and are double exposures made in the camera.
